Holiday Clubs

Elite are delighted to announce we are running 6 weeks of fun filled sports activities at some fantastic venues during the Summer holidays. We know that it has been a tough time for everybody so we can’t wait to put theses courses on for you and enjoy some sport.

We aim to have 3 bubbles for the different booking options of 2, 4 and 5 day courses and the children will stay in their bubbles for the duration they are booked on the course. They will also have the same coach and will (as is possible) maintain social distancing. We will also sanitise all the equipment before and after each person/ group has used it and maintain good hygiene with lots of opportunities to wash hands. We understand you may be nervous about sending your child, but we at Elite have over 20 years of experience in running these courses and we are extremely confident that your child will be safe and have lots of fun. During all the courses, we will put on a range of sports from Football, Athletics, Dodgeball, Basketball, Dance and our exciting Bikes and  Scooter day to name a few (please bring your own scooter/ bike and helmet).

Below we will outline what we have put in place to safe guard the children & our staff in maintaining a safe environment:

  • Options to start the day with a early drop at 8:30am (Paid) & a 9:00am for the start of the course.

  • One way system.

  • All the equipment will be cleaned before and after every session.

  • Implement social distancing at all times.

  • Three separate indoor rooms for each bubble.

  • Children will wash their hands routinely throughout the day.

  • The children will be placed in a designated bubble and will stay in this bubble throughout the course and will not mix with another bubble.

  • We will maintain the cleanliness of the site at all times. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Ensuring anti-viral spray is used on door handles, tables and work surfaces used by the children at the start and end of each day

    • Maintaining the toilet areas, cleaning sinks and toilet bowls, refreshing soap, hand towels and toilet tissue.

If your child falls ill during the course day, a first aider will look after them and you will be called as per our company procedure.  Please come to the venue to collect your child as soon as possible.

If your child has a high temperature or any other symptom of Covid-19, they will need to be isolated for the remainder of the session until you arrive to collect them.  They will continue to be supervised but will wait in a designated room. Please then follow this guidance: COVID-19: guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection guidance.

With Government guidance ever changing, as a company we will always follow the guidance and put in as many measures as necessary to fulfill the required guidelines set. Due to the exceptional circumstances of this virus, and whilst as mentioned, we have and will adhere to Government guidelines, and with the added measures we have taken, we will reduce the risk but we cannot eliminate it. We would like parents to be aware that whilst we will implement social distancing at all times, children will be children and might get too excited or just forget. We will keep reminding them and help them to keep their distance throughout the day.

The NHS has produced an information sheet to support children and young people’s mental health needs during the COVID19 pandemic. Click here to access the PDF version.

We understand that this is a really worrying time but we will aim to give the children some normality and give them the opportunity to have fun with their friends, but if you have any questions or queries please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to put your mind at rest.
