Swimming Course - Little Flippers*

Service Description

Little Flippers returns with a slightly amended format. There will no longer be a dedicated Stage 1 class and the third session will allow some progression from Stage 3 to Stage 4. I will now run two Stage 2 sessions as young swimmers often find it challenging to complete this stage as it requires travel with a kick without flotation. New swimmers can also enter this stage as long as they are fairly confident with water on the face. The pool at Christchurch School is ideal for learners as the depth is a constant 1m throughout. Stage 2 is for young swimmers who can put their face in the water and move confidently through the water. While the majority of the objectives are achieved with flotation, travel for 5m on front and back without flotation needs to be achieved before moving to Stage 3. Please Note: if the swimming coach feels you have booked the wrong session they may ask you to move to a different time slot.
